Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in Berkshire, Massachusetts. This position offers a rewarding chance to work in a well-supported, community-based emergency department nestled in a scenic region of western Massachusetts.Position: Locum MD/DO Emergency MedicineLocation: Berkshire, MassachusettsKey Responsibilities:Provide emergency medical care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.Perform medical evaluations, diagnostic testing, and emergency procedures.Work collaboratively with nursing staff, advanced practitioners, and specialists.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.Participate in scheduled shift coverage, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO).Active Massachusetts medical license (or willingness to obtain).ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required.Previous emergency department experience strongly preferred.Assignment Details:Flexible scheduling with day and night shifts available.Competitive daily rate with additional compensation for call (if applicable).All travel and lodging expenses covered.Malpractice insurance provided.Full credentialing assistance offered.Enjoy the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Berkshires while practicing in a supportive emergency care environment.
