Job description
Are you an Emergency Medicine physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Iron Michigan might be the perfect fit for you! Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Approximately 6-8 shifts/month; shifts likely consecutive or in blocks. Start Date: 11/1/2026, Ongoing. Available shift times: 6p-6a, 6a-2p, 1p-9p. APC shifts (physician eligible): 9a-9p, 11a-11p. Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve (half day commencing at noon).
Job Setting: Inpatient
Types of Cases: Emergency Medicine; approximately 20,000 ED visits per year. Hospitalists handle admissions. Newborn deliveries received in the ED. L&D department on site. 24-hour support services include: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR Response, and Radiology.
Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days.

11/29: 1p-9p
11/30: 6a-6p Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required. ABEM strongly preferred. New graduates welcome.
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required. AHA certification required by Marshfield.
Licensure: Michigan license required. IMLC not accepted. Facility will not reimburse for licensing costs.
