Locum Tenens Opportunity: Physician - Urgent Care Near Union, MO We are seeking dedicated physicians specializing in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine to join our team in a locum tenens capacity near Union, MO. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to provide essential urgent care services in an outpatient setting, helping manage extra volume demands.

Requirements:

Board Certification:

Yes, in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM), or Med/Peds

Fellowship: Not Applicable

Minimum Board Certification: Eligible

Licensure: Licensed in MO or through IMLC

Certifications:

BLS: Yes

ACLS: No

ATLS: No

ABLS: No

PALS: No

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Residency Trained: Required

Board Certification: Must be obtained within the appropriate eligibility time frame

Patient Population: Must treat both pediatric and adult patients (generally 6 months and up)

Comfortable with:Minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints)

Reading EKGs and X-rays

Using EMR systems (Epic training provided)

Support Staff: Willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, and rad techs (no RN/LPN support staff)

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
