No ATLS: No BLS: Yes PALS: No Specialty: Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medicine - Urgent Care, Family Medicine - Urgent Care EMR System: Epic Coverage Type: No Call Practice Setting: Outpatient Description Urgent Care is seeking a Physician to join our welcoming and diverse community of providers in our four centers in Springfield, MO and Joplin, MO.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Physicians must be: Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds Must treat both pediatric and adult patient populations Comfortable with minor procedures such as sutures, casts, splints, etc., and reading EKGs and X-rays Open to collaboration with APPs Willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff Scheduling/Needs: Up to 14 shifts per month Can schedule 4 shifts in a row Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12-hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8-hour shifts) Providers will not be granted any overtime Description: Urgent Care clinic; Provider must see patients 6 months and up for urgent care needs. Procedures include suturing, wound care, I & Ds, splinting, X-Ray and ECG overread, place IVs. Beautiful state-of-the-art centers that include lab and mobile x-ray with access to additional services. Note: A completed Covid vaccination card is now a required bid document to bid your provider and for your provider to be considered to work locums. Must be residency trained in FP, IM/Peds, or ED.
