Job description
A well-established, physician-led healthcare system in Northeast Nebraska, 90 min southwest of Sioux City, Iowa is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join its experienced emergency department team.
Position Highlights:
Join an established team of 6 physicians and 5 advanced practice clinicians
Practice in a Level III Trauma Center
Average 50 patients per day
12 twelve-hour shifts per month
No call
EPIC EMR
24/7 Hospitalist Team provides additional inpatient support
Broad specialty backup, including Interventional Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Gastroenterology, Neurology and Orthopedics
Practice within a regional referral center serving patients throughout Northeast and North Central Nebraska
Opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a manageable schedule and strong physician support
Qualifications:
Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred)
Prior trauma experience required
ATLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required
Compensation & Benefits:
$270/hour
