Experience: Prior ER experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00

What You ll Do:
Provide open ICU coverage in a busy emergency department with an annual patient volume of approximately 32,000.
Manage daily patient volumes of 90-100 patients, with each physician seeing about 18-20 patients per shift.
Work collaboratively with a team of one physician and two mid-level providers.
Utilize Meditech 6.1 EMR system for patient documentation.
Deliver high-quality emergency care across diverse cases, including complex cases typical for an emergency medicine setting.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medicaid and PECOS requirements.
Maintain standards of care in a hospital environment with a dedicated team supporting your success.
What You Need:
Required
Active North Carolina Medical License
Enrollment in NC Medicaid and PECOS
Emergency Medicine residency training or equivalent experience
Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
Preferred
Experience working in a hospital ED setting
Ability to handle high patient volumes efficiently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
