Job description
Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? A healthcare facility near Youngstown, OH, is seeking skilled physicians to provide exceptional patient care. This is your chance to work in a dynamic environment while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Job Highlights Location : Near Youngstown, Ohio.
Start Date : February 10, 2025.
Duration : 13 weeks with potential for extension.
Shifts :Day: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM.
Night: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM.
Additional shifts may vary depending on site needs.
Volume : Emergency Departments range from 15,000 to 48,000 annual visits.
Certification :Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
Alternatively, board-certified Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Pediatric Medicine (PM) physicians with 7,000+ hours of ED experience.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency required.
Facility Features Trauma Levels: Varies from Level 2 to Level 4, based on the location.
Support Services : Includes general surgery, cardiology, nephrology, orthopedics, and OB/GYN, among others.
EMR System : Cerner. EMR training will be provided.
Staffing : Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) collaborate to deliver high-quality care. APP supervision required.
Job Benefits Competitive Compensation
Flexible Scheduling : Minimum commitment of 2-3 shifts per month (local) or 3-4 shifts per month (traveling).
Travel & Accommodations : Billable travel included.
Orientation : Paid onboarding and EMR training.
Additional Requirements Must hold an active Ohio medical license.
Vaccination requirements include TB/PPD, flu, Hep B, MMR, varicella, Tdap, and COVID-19.
Critical care privileges are available for qualified candidates.
