Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a permanent position in Athens, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive healthcare team in a vibrant college town with a strong community spirit and access to outdoor recreation.Position: Permanent MD/DO Emergency MedicineLocation: Athens, OhioKey Responsibilities:Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.Perform a wide range of emergency procedures, including intubation, suturing, splinting, central line placement, and resuscitation.Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and hospital personnel to ensure efficient and effective patient care.Work scheduled shifts that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Document all patient encounters thoroughly and in compliance with hospital standards.Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO).Eligible for Ohio medical licensure.Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.Strong communication and teamwork skills; experience in community or academic emergency departments preferred.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary with productivity incentives.Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.Malpractice coverage with tail.CME stipend and paid CME time.Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.Student loan repayment assistance may be available.Practice in Athens, OHa dynamic city known for its cultural offerings, outdoor activities, and university-town atmosphere.
