Locum Tenens Opportunity for Emergency Medicine Physicians Specialties: Emergency Medicine Department: Emergency Start Date: End Date: Ongoing Location: Near Altus, OK Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR System: MediTech Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Practice Details: Coverage Needed: 24 hours of physician coverage, 12-hour shifts Additional Provider Coverage: 10 hours of APP coverage daily ED Volume: 20,000 Admission Rate: 12% Patients Per Shift: 27-28 Bed In Department: 11 Accept Multiple Providers: Yes Board Certification Requirement: Yes Fellowship Requirement: N/A Minimum Board Certification: Eligible License Requirement: Licensed in OK only Certifications Required: ACLS: Yes (EM trained does not require ATLS, ACLS & PALS, however, Primary Care trained physician will need these) ATLS: Yes PALS: Yes Reimbursement for Licensing Costs: No Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days if a clean file This locum tenens opportunity near Altus, OK, offers an excellent chance for Emergency Medicine physicians to provide essential coverage in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
