Locum Tenens Opportunity: Pediatric Emergency Medicine Near Foristell, MO We are seeking qualified pediatric emergency medicine physicians for a locum tenens role near Foristell, MO. This position is ideal for those looking to provide high-quality care in a dynamic setting while covering for a variety of needs, including FMLA and an open position.

Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule:

9-hour shifts, primarily during evenings and nights.

Coverage needed for approximately 15 shifts per month.

Practice Details:

Provide care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Manage a patient load of 14-18 per shift.

Department includes 13 rooms and 3 hall beds.

No rounding required.

Qualifications and Requirements: Licensing and Certification:

Must be licensed in Missouri.

Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is preferred; board-certified pediatricians with emergency department experience will also be considered.

Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (if not PEM fellowship-trained).

PALS certification required for PEM fellowship-trained candidates; ATLS required for non-PEM candidates.

Privileges:

Hospital/surgery center privileges are necessary.

No temporary privileges available.

EMR System: Epic.

No call responsibilities.
