Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in Pomeroy, Ohio. This role offers the flexibility of locum work in a rural hospital setting with a supportive clinical team and manageable patient volumes.Position: Locum MD/DO Emergency MedicineLocation: Pomeroy, OhioKey Responsibilities:Provide emergency medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages.Manage a variety of acute and urgent conditions, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies.Perform standard emergency procedures such as intubation, laceration repair, splinting, and resuscitation.Work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.Document all patient interactions in accordance with hospital protocols.Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO).Active Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.Prior experience in rural or community emergency departments preferred.Assignment Details:12- or 24-hour shifts available; flexible scheduling.Competitive daily rate with possible additional compensation for night/weekend shifts.Travel and lodging fully covered.Malpractice insurance included.Full credentialing support provided.Enjoy practicing in a quiet riverside town while making a meaningful impact on a close-knit community.
