Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Summitville, TN. This role is essential to our practice, which manages a high volume of patient visits annually. The ideal candidate must be ABEM or AOBEM certified, with no FM or IM credentials accepted for this emergency medicine position.

Highlights of Position Annual Patient Visits : 32,000

Emergency Department Beds : 19

Physician Coverage :Thursday - Sunday: 24 hours

Monday - Wednesday: 34 hours

Shift Times : 7a-7p; 7p-7a

Call Requirements : No call

Support Staff : Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage 36 hours/day

Average Patient Census : 32,000/year

Common Cases : Higher acuity cases

Annual ER Admissions : Approximately 20%

On-Call Requirements : Not applicable

Practice Details Required Certifications : Must be ABEM or AOBEM certified

Shift Coverage : One EM physician per shift

Procedures Required : Typical emergency medicine procedures

Technology : No robotic systems in use

Call Back Frequency : Not applicable, as there is no on-call requirement
