Emergency Medicine Physician Freestanding Emergency Department Near Knoxville, TN Job ID: j- An exciting opportunity awaits for a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at a new, state-of-the-art freestanding emergency department (FSED) near Knoxville, TN. This 67,000 square foot facility, which opened in July 2023, offers a unique and cutting-edge environment where you can make a significant impact in emergency medical care. We are looking for highly skilled and dedicated individuals who are board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM), Family Medicine (FM), or Internal Medicine (IM) with extensive emergency medicine experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide Comprehensive Emergency Medical Care to patients of all ages Administer Appropriate Treatments and Medications based on patients' needs Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team to ensure the highest standard of care Adhere to Freestanding Emergency Department Protocols and best practices Maintain Accurate Medical Records to document all patient interactions Ensure a Safe and Efficient Work Environment to support optimal patient outcomes Position Details: Position Type: Full-time Board Certification Requirements: Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM) Board-certified in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) with substantial emergency medicine experience On-Call Duties: No 2025 Residents Accepted: No New Graduates Accepted: Yes Visa Candidates Accepted: No Contract Type: Independent Contractor (IC) / 1099 About the Facility: Our freestanding emergency department offers advanced technologies and a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.
