JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Harlingen, Texas Coverage Period: Oct 01, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating day/night coverage Reason for Coverage: Start Up Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 60 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM) Licenses: Active TX License, DEA, CSR DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS (CSR) required Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide emergency or inpatient care based on assignment Manage patient flow in a high-volume acute care setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Participate in cross-site coverage as needed Work 12-hour shifts with rotating day/night coverage
