Locums: Emergency Medicine Physician Near Smiley, TX Position Description

Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians

We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum tenens opportunities near Smiley, TX. This is an excellent chance to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing critical care services to patients in need. The ideal candidates will be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD or DO) and have completed an EM residency.

Position Profile:

Annual Volume: 13,800 patients

Emergency Department Beds: 9

Physician Coverage: 24 hours

Shift Times: 7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM

EMR System: MediTech

Trauma Transfers: To major hospitals

Requirements:

Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained

Strong communication skills

Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
