Job description
Job DescriptionEmergency Department work hours will be rotating, variable hours consisting of variable length\ N
shifts to meet 80 hours/2weeks. Additional hours may be scheduled by mutual agreement to\ N
meet the clinical needs of the department.\ N
Duties includeprovision of emergencies and urgent treatment to patients that have illnesses\ N
within the scope of practice of Emergency Medicine, General Internal Medicine, and Family\ N
Practice. Consulting services will be utilized as necessary. Some patent care visits may be\ N
remote if physician is assigned to cover tele-EC duty.\ N
Further duties required of the position can be discussed at the time of interview.\ N
Emergency Medicine Physicians must be qualified to diagnose, treat, stabilize, and manage\ N
Emergency Department and Hospital patents according to standard, usual, and acceptable\ N
methods, and techniques.
