Job description
Join a community-focused critical access hospital as an Emergency Department Physician in Newport, Vermont. This full-time role provides high quality, timely, and compassionate care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions in a rural emergency department setting with collaborative medical staff support. Position Highlights Full-time Emergency Department Physician Rotating shifts Approximately 12 shifts per month Shift schedule: 7a"7p, 10a"9p, and 7p"7a 25-bed critical access hospital Approximately 16,000 patient visits annually Physicians only coverage model Cerner Community Works EMR BE/BC Emergency Medicine or significant ER experience considered Vermont medical license required BLS, ACLS, ATLS required or board certification in Emergency Medicine Compensation & Benefits $200/hour day shift and $236/hour night shift Sign-on bonus Paid relocation Full malpractice coverage Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Retirement 403(b) with match (100% vested) 457(b) tax deferred plan $3,500 CME Short- and Long-term Disability Educational loan repayment available If you may be interested, please reply with a good time to connect and the best number to reach you.
