Emergency Medicine MD/DO 12-Hour Shifts + 16K Annual Volume Marion, VA Looking for an Emergency Medicine assignment with a manageable ED volume, 12-hour shifts, APP support, and NO CALL? This ongoing locums opportunity in Marion, VA offers a strong combination of schedule, clinical support, and long-term coverage potential. Join an established Emergency Department with 16,000 annual visits, Epic EMR, 9 hours of mid-level coverage, and no call responsibilities. WHY THIS ASSIGNMENT STANDS OUT Ongoing Locums Coverage 12-Hour Physician Shifts NO CALL 16,000 Annual ED Volume 9 Hours of Mid-Level Coverage 44-Bed Hospital Epic EMR EM, FM, and IM Residency Backgrounds Accepted New EM Residency Graduates May Be Considered Long-Term Coverage Opportunity THE OPPORTUNITY Provide Emergency Medicine coverage in a 16K-volume ED with 12-hour physician shifts and additional APP coverage. This opportunity is open to qualified MD/DO physicians with Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine residency training who meet the facility's board certification and credentialing requirements. PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS MD or DO Board Certification Required Completion of an approved EM, FM, or IM residency Active, unrestricted Virginia Medical License DEA with Virginia address and required schedules 2 Years of Case Logs ACLS, ATLS and PALS required when applicable based on training/board status NRP required for non-ABEM providers New EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered 3-month proctorship may apply to new graduates READY FOR YOUR NEXT EM ASSIGNMENT? 12-hour shifts. 16K annual volume.
