Emergency Medicine MD/DO 12-Hour Shifts + Low-Acuity ED Sunnyside, WA Looking for an EM assignment with a manageable volume, straightforward schedule, and no call? This one checks the boxes. We're seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine Physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Sunnyside, Washington. Work 12-hour shifts in a low-acuity, 8-bed Emergency Department averaging approximately 18,000 visits annually and just a 5% admission rate. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services along with critical care, diagnostic imaging, medical-surgical services, and additional inpatient and outpatient support. Physicians should be comfortable independently managing a broad range of Emergency Medicine presentations and procedures. WHAT YOU'LL NEED MD or DO Board Certified Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine through an applicable ABMS or AOA board Recent Emergency Medicine experience Appropriate residency training in EM, FM, or IM Washington medical licensure required for credentialing Washington-addressed DEA with required schedules Ability to perform required ED procedures ACLS, ATLS + PALS required for applicable non-EM physicians Prior locums/travel experience required ASSIGNMENT SNAPSHOT Location: Sunnyside, WA Start: Ongoing Coverage Schedule: Approximately 12 Shifts/Month Shift Length: 12 Hours ED Volume: Approximately 18K Annually ED Beds: 8 Acuity: Low Admission Rate: 5% Call: NONE Floating: NONE EMR: Allscripts Paragon EM PHYSICIANS - GOT 12 SHIFTS A MONTH OPEN?
