Locum Tenens Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician Needed Near Owen, WI We are looking for a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis near Owen, WI. This opportunity is perfect for physicians who are passionate about rehabilitation and want to work in a supportive inpatient setting. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis. Position Details: Specialty: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Other Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Practice Setting: Inpatient Requirements: Board Certification: Board Eligible at minimum Fellowship: Required Licensing Requirement: None specified for bidding Certifications: ACLS: Required ATLS: Required BLS: Required PALS: Not required ABLS: Not required Privileges: No hospital/surgery center privileges required Temporary Privileges: Available Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days with a clean file Patients Per Shift: 7-8 Bed in Department: 10 Rounding: Assigned patients EMR System: Cerner Call Coverage: No call Practice Details: Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Clinic Work: Available if preferred, 1-5 days/week with clinic volume of 6-7 patients per half day Daily Census: 7-8 patients for inpatient monitoring Support Staff: Full rehab unit team, including physical/occupational/speech therapists, discharge planning team, social workers, rehab nurses, and neuropsychology support Common Patient Cases: Stroke, orthopedic trauma, brain injury, non-traumatic spine conditions Holidays Covered: Labor Day New Year's Day Memorial Day Christmas Day 4th of July Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon) Thanksgiving Day This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing comprehensive rehabilitation care to a diverse patient population.
