Are you an Endocrinology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Pennsylvania might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
Schedule: Monday-Friday: Clinic 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with overnight call 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM; Saturday-Sunday: 24-hour call 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM (no clinic). Coverage needed 1-2 weeks per month consistently. Immediate Open Dates: 11/1, 11/8-11/22, 12/18-1/16
Job Setting: Outpatient clinic with after-hours and weekend phone call coverage
Types of Cases: Up to 18-20 outpatient patients per day (new and established)
Evening and weekend on-call coverage for clinic patients (phone-based)
Weekend coverage includes outpatient and inpatient curbside consults (via phone) - hospitalists may reach out for guidance
Responsible for reviewing patient test results and refilling prescriptions remotely as needed
Average call volume: ~10 calls per weeknight and weekend
Reason for Opening: Candidate on Leave
Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Licensure: Pennsylvania license (or ability to obtain)
