JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-69231 Profession: Physician Specialty: Endocrinology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Scarborough, ME Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Nov 02, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri (4x10s) or Mon-Fri (5x8s) 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off Reason for Coverage: Vacancy Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 16-20 patients/day Case Mix: Endocrinology, Diabetes FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Thyroid FNA (preferred but not required) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified (Required) Licenses: Active ME License, Universal License (IMLC) Other Qualifications: EPIC EMR experience required, Covid/Flu vaccine required, References (2 supervisors + 1 peer within 12 months) required Duties & Responsibilities Provide ambulatory outpatient endocrinology and diabetes care. See 16-20 patients per day, 4 days per week. Manage hospital discharge patients, new patients, and follow-up visits. Collaborate with 11 physicians and 4 APPs. Optionally perform thyroid FNAs if skilled.
