REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Thyroid FNA (preferred but not required)
General endocrinology and diabetes management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: Board Certified (Required)
Licenses: Active ME License or Universal License (IMLC) (Highly Preferred) willing to review licensing candidates
Certifications: Board Certified
Other Qualifications: Experience with EPIC EMR; Thyroid FNA ability highly preferred; Covid and flu vaccine required; References from 2 supervisors and 1 peer within 12 months required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide outpatient endocrinology and diabetes care in an ambulatory clinic setting.
Manage new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and hospital discharge follow-ups.
See 16-20 patients per day, 4 days per week (flexible 4x10 or 5x8 schedule).
Collaborate with onsite Certified Diabetes Educators for patient education and diabetes management.
Optionally perform thyroid fine-needle aspirations (FNAs).
