Job Type: Perm Profession/Specialty: Physician Family Medicine Dates of Coverage: ASAP, full-time, Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. No late clinics, no call and no after-hours charting. Call Coverage: No Call Type: NO CALL Call Ratio: NO CALL Average Amount of Call Back Hours: NO CALL Number of Providers Needed: One Reason for Coverage: We are losing our full-time physcian, who has decided to go into private practice. Practice Setting(s): ("Clinic") Leadership Position/Required to Teach: Would supervise 3 FNPs TRAVEL AND LOGISTICS: Will reimburse for flight, lodging and car rental REQUIREMENTS Board Certified OR Truly Board Eligible Candidates-Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine (REQUIRED) NM State license (Required) BLS, DEA (REQUIRED) Minimum 2-3 years of experience (REQUIRED) Clean background/no malpractice or license issues, no exceptions (REQUIRED) Patient Population: Full-spectrum family medicine; babies to retirees % Outpatient vs Inpatient: 100% Out patient Average of Patients Per Day: 8-14 Trauma Level Designation: N/A Required Duties, Procedures, Skills, etc: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, Perform comprehensive physical examinations, Develop individualized treatment plans, Promote wellness and preventive care, Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate, Order and interpret diagnostic testing, Participate in quality improvement initiatives, Supervise one or more NP team members. EMR/Documentation: Elation Additional Notes: We work in a value-based care model; outside the normal fee-for-service model. Ww are not taking/billing insurance and no RVUs.
