Job description

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Providers strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. Our Family Medicine Team provides coverage throughout Southern Idaho.

At our clinics, we offer a wide scope of services, including primary care for newborns, children, and adults; minor procedures (colposcopy and IUD insertion); management of chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and skin problems); immunizations; joint injections; and preventive care and wellness counseling.

What's In It For You:

Loan Forgiveness

Competitive salary with potential quality incentives

Generous recruitment incentives

Hospital employed with comprehensive medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits

Malpractice insurance with inclusive tail coverage

$6,500 Professional Development Fund to be used for licenses, dues, memberships and CMEs

Why Providers Choose St. Luke’s:

More than sixty specialties converge here, including Idaho’s only Children’s

Hospital. Physicians benefit from modern operating suites, advanced technology, and integrated support through technology – enabling them to spend more time on meaningful patient care and less on administrative burdens.

But inside St. Luke’s, the standout feature isn’t equipment or facilities—it’s the culture.

We believe exceptional care begins with an environment that supports our clinicians. Nationally recognized by the American Medical Association's Joy in Medicine program for reducing burnout and boosting clinician well-being, St. Luke’s leads in team collaboration, professional growth, and shared decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: MD/DO from accredited medical school

BC/BE in Specialty

Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice

Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy

Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System
