At Health by Design, we've built a practice model that allows physicians to focus on what matters most--caring for patients. n n Our value-based primary care, working outside the traditional fee-for-service model eliminates RVUs and high-volume schedules, replacing them with meaningful patient relationships, collaborative care, and the time to practice thoughtful medicine. n n We are currently seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our exceptional care team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive primary care while partnering with our interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans that improve long-term health outcomes.n n Responsibilities include:nn Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditionsn Perform comprehensive physical examinationsn Develop individualized treatment plansn Promote wellness and preventive caren Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriaten Order and interpret diagnostic testingn Participate in quality improvement initiativesn Supervise one or more NP team membersnn n Practice Medicine--Not Production Medicinen Forget the pressure of seeing 25-30 patients every day. Our physicians see an average of 8-14 patients daily, allowing you to provide comprehensive, personalized care instead of rushing from room to room. And with care-coordination/administrative time built into your schedule, there is never anything to do at night - no afterhours charting!n n n You'll have:nn 30- and 60-minute appointmentsn Smaller patient panelsn Time to educate patientsn Time to build relationshipsn Time to focus on prevention and long-term wellnessnn n n Rather than simply treating disease, you'll help patients improve their health through:nn Lifestyle Medicinen Preventive Caren Chronic Disease Managementn Nutrition Educationn Patient Educationnn n n A True Collaborative Care Teamn You are never expected to manage everything on your own.
