Job description
Per diem urgent care physician 4 to 6 shifts per month Eight-hour shifts with weekend coverage required Adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Evaluate, treat, and triage urgent and higher-acuity conditions Minor procedures include suturing, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, sprain care, minor burn care, and fracture care Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine California license or eligibility required ACLS required PALS preferred $160 per hour plus productivity compensation Malpractice coverage provided Chico, California About 90 miles to Sacramento, roughly 1 hour 45 minutes by car
