Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a full-time, permanent role in a well-established Primary Care practice near Townsend, Delaware. This position offers the chance to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. The practice is located in a vibrant community with a supportive environment for personal and professional growth.
Position Overview: Location: Near Townsend, Delaware
Position Type: Full-time, permanent
Specialty: Family Medicine (Primary Care)
Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible shift options (8-hour or 10-hour shifts)
Call Schedule: Equitable call schedule, including nights and weekends
On-Call Requirements: Shared, including weekend responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages
Opportunity to work in a newly renovated and expanded facility
Engage in patient education and preventive care to promote healthy lifestyles
Potential to teach within a Family Medicine Residency program
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high standards of patient care
Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (required)
Active Delaware medical license or willingness to obtain one
DEA certification or eligibility
Experience working with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Clean malpractice and licensing history
Fluency or proficiency in medical Spanish is highly desirable but not required
