Physician (Family Practice/Internal Medicine)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Days
Practice Setting: FQHC / Community Health Outpatient Clinic
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care in a mission-driven community health setting serving underserved and diverse populations. The ideal candidate is passionate about community healthcare and comfortable managing a steady outpatient volume.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
Perform histories, physical exams, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning
Order and review labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
Provide pediatric primary care for patients from birth through 19 years
Provide patient and family education and coordinate referrals
Manage patient messages, refills, and lab results
Maintain timely documentation and complete charts within 72 hours
Participate in approximately 2 telehealth visits daily
Maintain productivity and clinical quality standards
Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited U.S. or qualifying international medical school
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active, unrestricted California medical license
Active DEA certificate
Current CPR certification
FQHC/community health or underserved population experience preferred
1-2+ years serving underserved, low-income, or homeless populations preferred
Pediatric primary care experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with HRSA, HEDIS, or PCMH quality measures preferred
EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
