JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Family Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Ironwood, MI Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Nov 02, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p (flexible) 4-6 months Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 12-25 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: MAs: 1, Office Staff: 1 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required Well woman care General outpatient JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: MI license or willing to obtain Certifications: BLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages. Perform well woman exams and preventive care services. Manage acute and chronic conditions in a clinic setting. Provide newborn care and adolescent health services. Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
