What You ll DoDiagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in diverse patient populations
Perform comprehensive physical examinations
Develop personalized treatment plans promoting wellness and prevention
Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Supervise nurse practitioner team members
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within a value-based care model
What You Need
Required:
Valid New Mexico medical license
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
1+ years of clinical experience preferred
Proficiency in EMR (Elation)
Strong clinical and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience working in outpatient primary care settings
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
About the Assignment
This position is located in a leading facility in Albuquerque, NM, providing full-spectrum outpatient family medicine services to patients from babies to retirees. The clinic operates within a value-based care model, emphasizing quality and patient wellness without insurance billing or RVUs. You will work alongside a supportive team caring for an average of 8-14 patients daily, supervising FNPs, and contributing to a community-focused healthcare environment.
