We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Ohkay Owingeh, New Mexico. This role is to fill a long-term vacancy with a start date of ASAP, continuing on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in family medicine and be ready to provide comprehensive outpatient care. This position offers a structured schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Expectations Primary Responsibilities :Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population

Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions

Develop and manage treatment plans

Conduct routine physical exams, health assessments, and preventative care

Order and interpret diagnostic tests

Coordinate care with specialists as needed

Schedule and Coverage Shift Details :Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

No on-call duties required

No inpatient or hospital privileges needed

Coverage includes public holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

Practice Details EMR System : NextGen

Patients Per Shift : Approximately 24

Practice Environment : Strictly outpatient care

Rounding : Not required

Requirements and Qualifications Certifications :BLS (Basic Life Support) required

Board Certification in Family Medicine required

Licensing : Must be licensed to practice in New Mexico

Experience : Significant experience in Family Medicine is preferred
