"Family Practice / Internal Medicine PhysicianPosition OverviewSeeking a Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient primary care coverage. The provider will practice at community-based outpatient clinics with a consistent home base between one or two clinic locations and support patients across the full age spectrum.
Compensation:
$170/hrScheduleStart Date: Upon credentialing (approximately 1214 weeks)Contract Length: 26 weeksMondayFridayFive 8-hour shifts per week8:00 AM 5:00 PM11:00 AM 8:00 PM (12 evening shifts per week)No callPart-time availability will be considered, though full-time is preferredPractice SettingOutpatient Primary Care ClinicProvider will have a home base at 12 clinic locations within a reasonable commuting distanceMultiple clinic locations throughout the Los Angeles areaResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient primary careEvaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditionsDeliver preventive care and wellness visitsCare for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patientsCollaborate with onsite behavioral health and multidisciplinary support teamsPatient VolumeApproximately 18 patients per dayEMREpicSupport StaffMedical AssistantsRegistered NursesLicensed Vocational NursesOnsite Behavioral HealthRobust multidisciplinary clinical supportRequirementsBoard Certified in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineBoard Eligible candidates may be considered with a strong explanation and appropriate experienceActive California medical licenseDEACalifornia CSRBLS and ACLS certificationsMinimum of 2 years of experienceEpic experience requiredSpanish-speaking skills strongly preferredClean malpractice history preferred (minor issues reviewed on a case-by-case basis)Additional InformationCredentialing timeframe: approximately 1214 weeksFull-time coverage preferred, though part-time availability will also be consideredNo call responsibilitiesCOVID-19 vaccination is not required."
