Job description
Are you a dedicated Family Practice Physician seeking an exciting locum tenens opportunity? This outpatient community health center in Washington State is looking for a committed professional to join their team. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest while making a meaningful impact on underserved populations.
Position Details Start Date: March 3, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)
Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for extension
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM
40 hours per week
No on-call responsibilities
Daily Census: Up to 21 patients per day
Role Highlights Work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.
Deliver basic procedures such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care.
Collaborate with a dedicated support team, including medical assistants, receptionists, dietitians, and mental health therapists.
Requirements Board Certification: Family Practice (BC/BE required)
License: Active Washington State medical license required
Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience with direct patient care within the past year.
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Spanish or Russian is a plus, but not required.
Key Qualifications Passion for working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees.
Ability to adapt quickly and provide patient care independently after a brief orientation.
Clean malpractice history and background check.
Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly rate
Travel expenses covered, including airfare, rental car, or mileage, and lodging.
Additional Information Full vaccination against COVID-19 and flu is required.
Credentialing timeframe: 23 weeks.
