Health System is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician with a desire to practice obstetrics in a rural community northeast of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
- 1.0 FTE opportunity with scheduling flexibility, including the potential for a four-day work week
- Average patient volume of approximately 16-22 patients per day
- 32 patient contact hours for a 1.0 FTE with Obstetrics
- Attached 25-bed critical access hospital
- Current call rotation is 1:3 with plans to transition to 1:4 as recruitment continues
- Call responsibilities include nursing home coverage, Obstetrics, and pediatric patients under age 18 admitted to Palmer Lutheran
- Air ambulance services available
- 24/7 consultation support available
- On-site laboratory and radiology services
- In-house CT and MRI available
- Rehabilitation services available
- Behavioral health services available on-site
- Collaborative rural practice environment with opportunity to practice broad-spectrum Family Medicine and Obstetrics
