Job DescriptionAre you a dedicated clinical leader with a passion for providing high-quality patient care? TeamHealth is seeking a facility medical director to join our team in the Alamo and Brownsville, Tennessee, areas. Competitive compensation of $110/hour for direct patient care with no cap on productivity income potential, plus leadership stipend.\ N
About the Role \ N Part-time (10 days/month) rounding in a rural health community clinic
\ N No call

What You'll Do \ N Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population
\ N Build meaningful relationships with patients and families
\ N Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team
\ N Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility standards
\ N Clinical oversight supervising one to two nurse practitioners
\ N
Support and Development \ N 3-month onboarding program with dedicated mentor
\ N Access to Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) Guidance from industry-leading clinical experts
\ N Opportunities for quality improvement and facility leadership collaboration
\ N
Key Responsibilities \ N Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical exams, develop and adjust individualized care plans, monitor patient's progress, and coordinate care for optimal outcomes
\ N Educate patients and families on health management
\ N Maintain accurate, timely medical records
\ N
Qualifications \ N Current Tennesseephysician medical license and DEA
\ N 2 years primary care experience
\ N Strong clinical skills and communication abilities
\ N Work location: in person, part-time, W2 eligible only
\ N Commute/relocate: Jackson, Dyersburg, and Memphis, TN
