Job DescriptionPermanent Family Medicine Physician Opportunity Location: Alma, GeorgiaPractice Type: Traditional Family Medicine (Outpatient + Inpatient)Work Setting: Critical Access Hospital & Rural Health ClinicVisa Candidates Welcome | New Graduates Encouraged to Apply Practice Highlights \ N Traditional Family Medicine practice caring for adults and pediatrics
\ N Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
\ N Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
\ N Average 25 patients per day
\ N Shared 1:4 call with hospital providers (transitioning to 1:5 later this year)
\ N Future plan to implement a nocturnist model for overnight admissions and inpatient coverage
\ N Clinical Responsibilities \ N Outpatient FamilyMedicine in the Rural Health Clinic
\ N Morning inpatient rounding at the Critical Access Hospital
\ N Admit and manage your own hospitalized patients
\ N Assist with newborn nursery coverage as needed
\ N Care for patients of all ages
\ N Collaborate with an experienced team including an FNP, General Surgeon, and Pediatrician (position currently being recruited)
\ N Hospital & Practice Setting \ N Critical Access Hospital
\ N Rural Health Clinic located adjacent to the hospital
\ N Level I Nursery
\ N Approximately 180 annual deliveries
\ N Current inpatient census averages 10 patients (maximum census approximately 25)
\ N Morning hospital roundstypically take 45 minutes
\ N Meditech EHR used in both the hospital and clinic
\ N Candidate Requirements \ N Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
\ N Board-eligible physicians must obtain board certification within 6 months of eligibility
\ N New graduates are welcome to apply
\ N Visa candidates are welcome
\ N Georgia medical licensepreferred to expedite credentialing
\ N Compensation & Benefits \ N $255,000 Base Salary + Generous Bonus Structure
