Job DescriptionFamily Medicine Physician opportunity: Cedar Rapids, IA About the Job:
\ N Team of 5 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners
\ N No Nights or Weekends
\ N Shared call amongst theproviders. Triaged through MyNurse
\ N Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
\ N General family medicineprocedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.
\ N Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
\ N Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
\ N Excellent communication(written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
\ N Opportunity to practiceoutpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic
\ N Onsite X-ray (imaging services), Lab (Medlabs), and outpatient physical and occupational therapy.
\ N Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
\ N Experienced staff, bothclinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
\ N Position 1.0 FTE full time, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
\ N 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
\ N Fully integrated systemwith clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Qualifications \ N MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
\ N Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
\ N Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
\ N Eligible to work in theUnited States (H1-B cap exempt)
