Job DescriptionPost-Acute Care Medical Director Opening Cortland, NYSyracuse 35mFull TimePermanent PositionSeeking BC/BE Physician (IM/FM/EM or related) for Medical Director role in Cortland, New YorkPosition Highlights:- Full-time schedule, 4–5 days per week- Skilled nursing facility setting with medical directorship responsibilities- Fee-for-service compensation model with additional monthly stipend- Dedicated night call coverage for work-life balance- Strong clinical leadership and multidisciplinary team support- Opportunity for autonomy, leadership, and program developmentResponsibilities:- Perform comprehensive patient assessments- Develop and manage individualized care plans- Monitor patient progress and coordinate care- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team- Educate patients and families on health management- Maintain accurate and timely documentation- Provide medical directorship and oversee clinical quality initiativesQualifications:- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related field- Active New York license and DEA or ability to obtain- Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic setting preferredCompensation & Benefits:- Estimated compensation $232,538 to $264,046 annually- Uncapped productivity income potential- Monthly medical director stipend- 401(k) retirement plan- Medical, dental, and vision insurance- Flexible spending and health savings accounts- Paid professional liability insurance- Flexible time off
