Opportunity\ NFamily Medicine –Medical Director
\ N Full-time, employed position
\ N Hybrid schedule with required on-site patient visits at least monthly
\ N Monday through Friday, 8-hour workdays
\ N No weekends
\ N HPSA Score: 16
\ N The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership for the primary care service line while overseeing quality of care, regulatory compliance, and program development initiatives. As a key member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Medical Director will support strategic planning, program growth, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities\ N Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan
\ N Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the primary care program
\ N Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and other clinical staff
\ N Develop and support clinical policies, protocols, and best practices
\ N Monitor quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes
\ N Assist with program development and organizational growth
\ N Participate in leadership and administrative activities
\ N Collaborate with behavioral health and other multidisciplinary teams
\ N Promote patient-centered, evidence-based care
\ N Support compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and organizational standards
\ N Requirements \ N MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
\ N Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
\ N Active or eligible for New York medical licensure
\ N Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
\ N Minimum of five years of primary care or family medicine experience preferred
\ N Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
\ N Experience working in an outpatient primary care setting
\ N Proficiency with electronic health records and standard office software
\ N Successful completion of background check and Medicaid exclusion screening
