Job DescriptionFamily Medicine - Traditional Practice + Medical Director Role Location: Fort Scott, Kansas Full-Time Position Position Highlights: BC/BE Family Medicine physician sought for a combined clinical and leadership role Traditional FM practice with Medical Director responsibilities Oversee care of up to 10 pediatric/adolescent patients in an inpatient residential behavioral health facility Inpatient unit includes both adult and pediatric beds (up to 10 total) Onsite diagnostics: lab, X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Physician-driven system with autonomy to shape practice setting Full administrative and professional support including IT, hiring, billing, and coding assistanceCandidate Profile: Strong clinical skills with a solid work ethic Adaptable, collaborative, and excellent communicator Passion for patient-centered care and leadership in a behavioral health settingCompensation & Benefits: Employed position with comprehensive benefits:oMalpractice with tail coverageoHealth, dental, vision insuranceoFSA, 401(a), 403(b), 457(b) retirement plans Relocation allowance CME allowanceCommunity Highlights: Fort Scott, Kansas: Historic yet vibrant town with a welcoming, small-town atmosphere Attractions include: Downtown Historic District, live music, festivals, local winery, lavender patch, and elk ranch Rich historical sites, including Fort Scott National Historic Site Easy access to Hwy 69, just 1 hour from Kansas City metro and under 40 minutes from the site of a new regional hospital opening soon
