Location: Tallahassee, Florida Type: Direct Hire Job Emergency Room Nurse / FSED / Acute Care We are seeking a qualified FSED ER Registered Nurse for an immediate opening. We offer the following benefits: $25 to $35 per hour (based on experience) Up tp $10,000 sign on bonus Health, Vision, Dental 24 days PTO Tuition Reimbursement Life Insurance 403b w/ 5% match Short Term Disability/Long Term Disability Emergency Room Nurse / FSED / Acute Care Job Responsibilities Under general direction, provides nursing care in collaboration with the patients and serves as a resource person for staff; evaluates patients' qualifications for clinical research studies; presents lectures, seminars, programs, or conferences; responsible for collaboration, facilitation, and implementation of research projects; provides direct clinical service to patients and families including psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, supportive therapy, behavior modification, care management, and patient education. We are a 266-bed, acute-care hospital that offers 24/7 Emergency Services in Leon and Gadsden Counties including; a Pediatric ER, and an Express Care ER. Offerings also include a Bariatric Center, Behavioral Health Center, Burn Clinic, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center w/PCI, Comprehensive Breast Center, Family Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Orthopedic/Spine Center, Physical Therapy Services, Stroke Center, Surgical Services, Network-of-Care Affiliated Physician Practices, and more. Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Critical care.acute care experience preferred Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS, ACLS, PALS required TNCC and CEN/ENPC preferred License: Currently licensed in the state Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Certification in specialty area preferred.
