G astroenterology Physician Locums Job in Arizona 24 Hour Call Beginning November 2 - Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details Credentialing time frame: 60-90 days (clean file required) Two providers needed Open Dates December 23 (Orientation and EMR training, half day) December 24 (7:00 AM) January 4 (7:00 AM) - REQUIRED March 8 (7:00 AM) March 15 (7:00 AM) March 29 (7:00 AM) April 4 (7:00 AM) Shift Details 24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM Scheduled outpatient procedures from 8:00 AM 4:00 PM while on call 6-14 call days per month (coverage needed is 7 call days per month, ongoing until internal physician is hired) Provider is responsible for inpatient rounding and GI consults in addition to scheduled outpatient procedures while on 24-hour call One provider covers call and rounding during the day Anticipated average callback hours following scheduled procedures: 1-2 hours Requirements Board Certification in Gastroenterology Active Arizona license or IMLC with LOQ in hand at time of submission Completed GI Fellowship / Residency requirements Active ACLS and DEA - Highly Preferred Local candidate - Highly Preferred Required Procedures / Skills ERCP Colonoscopy EGD Advanced Endoscopist - Helpful (not required) Assignment Details Practice setting: Outpatient procedures with potential clinic coverage in the future (Clinic coverage: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM) ERCP coverage needed for at least one week per month Volume on a busy day: 3-4 GI consults with inpatient census averaging the same Necessary procedures can typi
