Job DescriptionGastroenterologist – Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina Setting: Established GI Practice + Hospital PrivilegesPosition Type: Employed General Gastroenterologist (BE/BC)Quick-Screen Requirements Licenses & Certifications \ N Board Eligible or Board Certified – REQUIRED (General Gastroenterology)
\ N Experience \ N Fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist
\ N Able to perform standard GI procedures (listed below)
\ N Candidate Type \ N Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient care
\ N Open to a Monday–Friday, 8a–5p practice schedule
\ N Position Highlights \ N Employed by a physician group
\ N Privileges at affiliated hospital
\ N Reason for opening: Practice expansion
\ N Join an established practice of 2 GI physicians
\ N Built-in referral network from affiliated primary care practices
\ N Strong support from hospitalists, general surgery, and oncology
\ N Inpatient + outpatient mix
\ N Procedure mix includes: \ N
Colonoscopies
\ N Flex sigmoidoscopies
\ N EGDs
Weekly Schedule \ N Monday–Friday, 8a–5p
\ N Outpatient clinic + 2–3 procedure days/week
\ N 36 hours patient care / 4 hours administrative time
