Gastroenterologist - Locum Tenens Opportunity in Central Florida We are currently seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for a short-term locum tenens assignment in Central Florida, near Babson Park. This position is covering high-volume call shifts. Assignment Details: Specialty: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Start Date: December 11, 2023 End Date: December 16, 2023 Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Inpatient Admissions Required: Yes Temporary Privileges: Available MANDATED Job Requirements: Board Certification in Gastroenterology - Required Fellowship in Gastroenterology - Required Active Florida Medical License - Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required Specialty Skills Required: Upper GI endoscopy with various procedures ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - Diagnostic and Therapeutic Esophageal dilatation/manometry Esophageal manometry interpretation Small Bowel biopsy Lower GI endoscopy, including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with various procedures Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) Liver biopsy Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube This is an excellent opportunity to provide critical coverage at a prominent healthcare facility in Central Florida.
