Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) for a permanent position in Covington, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice in a community-focused health system with modern facilities, a robust referral network, and excellent work-life balance just outside the Atlanta metro area.Position: Permanent MD/DO GastroenterologistLocation: Covington, GeorgiaKey Responsibilities:Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions including IBD, GERD, liver disease, and colorectal disorders.Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies (EGDs); ERCP preferred but not required.Provide outpatient GI care and inpatient consultative services.Collaborate with primary care providers, surgeons, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.Participate in rotating call coverage and help grow GI services in the region.Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology (MD/DO).Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Georgia.Proficient in endoscopic procedures; advanced training a plus.Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach.Open to new graduates and experienced providers.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary with wRVU-based productivity incentives.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.Malpractice insurance with tail coverage.CME stipend and paid CME leave.Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.Loan repayment assistance negotiable.Covington, GA is a picturesque Southern town offering a great quality of life, highly rated schools, and convenient access to Atlantas cultural, professional, and airport amenities.
