Gastroenterologist Locum Tenens Opportunity Specialty: Gastroenterology
Assignment: Inpatient Locum to Perm Provider
Details: Default Rate Type: Daily
Emergency/Temp Privileges: No
Shift Type: 24-Hour
Shift Description: 24-hour in-house call, 7:00 am - 7:00 am
Overview: We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for an inpatient locum to perm opportunity starting from June onwards. The position requires 24-hour call coverage with hospital-based responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide 24-hour call coverage, from 7:00 am to 7:00 am
Perform ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography); EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) highly preferred
Conduct 3-4 outpatient procedures per day, inpatient procedures, and consultations
Patient demographic: Adult only
Additional Details: EMR: Cerner
Locum to Perm: Candidate must be interested in transitioning to a permanent position.
Board Certification: Required, or truly Board Eligible within 3 years of Residency
License: Active Iowa License or IMLC required
BLS Certification: Required
Inpatient Work: Provider must be willing and able to work inpatient cases
ERCP Certification: Required
EUS Experience: Highly preferred
