REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Required:Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser
Small Bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible)
Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
Preferred:Esophageal dilatation/manometry
Esophageal manometry interpretation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: Board certification required
Licenses: Licensed in MD or Universal License (IMLC)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Fellowship: Required
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
Administer moderate sedation alongside nursing staff
Interpret endoscopic findings and manage patient care
Document procedures in Epic EMR
Collaborate with support staff for patient management
