What You ll Do
Provide hospital-based call coverage for adult patients
Perform upper and lower endoscopies, colonoscopies, and routine GI procedures
Conduct advanced procedures such as EUS and ERCP (preferred but not required)
Round on patients and support hospital staff during assigned shifts
Collaborate with hospital team to ensure top patient care and smooth workflow
What You Need
Board Certification in Gastroenterology
MA State Medical License
DEA certification
BLS certification
At least 1 year of relevant experience
Ability to support weeknight/weekend rotations and emergent procedures
About the Assignment
This role involves providing essential GI call coverage at a hospital setting via EPIC electronic health records. The locum will support the hospital's adult patient population with necessary procedures and rounding, working independently during scheduled shifts. The hospital is seeking a dedicated GI physician to join their team for a short-term assignment with quick credentialing, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
