Quick Facts Location: Northampton, MA Start Date: 01/08/2027 End Date: 04/09/2027 Shift: Night, 3x24-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) Hours/Week: 36 Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: MA Medical License, BLS, DEA Experience: 1+ year in Gastroenterology Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $3,177.72 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time, licensure and travel reimbursements Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide adult Gastroenterology care in a hospital setting Perform upper and lower endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other GI procedures Support patient rounds and consults Manage patient calls and follow-up Collaborate with hospital staff and support services Utilize EPIC EMR system Respond to patient needs during scheduled shifts What You Need Board Certification in Gastroenterology Massachusetts medical license or willingness to obtain BLS certification and DEA registration At least 1 year of professional experience in GI Ability to perform endoscopic procedures (EUS and ERCP preferred) About the Assignment This hospital-based role involves covering call shifts approximately once every five weeks, primarily during the night. You will support adult patients with gastrointestinal conditions, primarily performing endoscopies and related procedures.
